D3 Inferno difficulty

As a followup, I’ve been able to kill The Butcher with only 9k life using glass cannon and stacking as much Attack Speed as I can.  It’s a little RNG, but if you can get your Templar to tank him long enough (get him stam!) you can kill him very quickly. You need glass cannon for Act 2 onwards, otherwise you won’t be able to kill the rest of Inferno. Unfortunately you have to time Smoke Screen with a few chains with this method, but he dies so fast it shouldn’t be too bad.

Being the casual gamer these days that I am with my job and lots of side work, I haven’t cleared too far into Inferno difficulty in Diablo 3 yet.  However, last night I took on the Butcher as a solo Demon Hunter.  It was annoying and hard, but fun.  I eventually overcame the encounter and was able to kill him quickly and efficiently.  Actually, very efficiently.  I ended up getting the achievement where you kill the Butcher in under 2 minutes!  Considering many people see the enrage timer, I consider that pretty good!

My big problem was the random-number-generator (RNG) events killing me.  As a Demon Hunter you’re about as squishy as a small bug, so 1 hit does you in pretty well.  Note that unless you have 30,000HP, The Butcher’s chain ability will 1 shot your character.

Knowing this, here are some tips that let me beat him.

This was the build I used, focusing on heavy single-target damage while still retaining some mobility.
Obtain 30,000 life.  Try substituting as few stamina-heavy items as possible over normal gear. Damage is important on the fight. Also, resistance to all or physical resistance items help too, as it’ll make it so you don’t need as much health.
Drop sentry and use Marked For Death on the boss at the beginning.  Keep up a Devouring Arrow tick as much as possible and use Elemental Arrow liberally.  Don’t get too greedy, as he’ll grab you if you’re not ready to strafe.
Strafe to the sides, don’t move straight away from him.  His blue grip chain will always get you unless you’re very far away.
Eat the chains damage.  If you have extra discipline you can time a Smoke Screen to avoid all damage from it.  Chains is random, though, so you have to get lucky.  If he hasn’t done one for a while it’s a good bet that the next ability will be one.
The fire on the ground sucks.  When you want to get to a health well it sometimes comes up at the worst time.  Never stand on it.  You can run over it for 2 seconds with Smoke Screen, but don’t tempt fate.
If your damage is high enough you’ll only have to re-mark the boss and re-drop sentry once during the fight.
Get a strong bow with at least 750-790DPS and a socket.  Gem it with a Green gem for 45% (or more) extra crit damage.  You crit a lot.  Do not get a crossbow.  For whatever reason, crossbows fire slower than bows in Diablo 3.  Seriously, even if they say they’re the same speed, they’re not.  Try it yourself with the same gear on.

D3 Gold Top 4 Strategies

Did you know that you can make real money with Diablo 3? Here are top 7 strategies that you can do to make some gold as you play the game.

This is the most obvious tip. Strive to become a better player. The better you are at playing the game the higher your chances of getting the most rare items and make money out of it. It will not just motivate you to become a critical thinker but also light your way to the path of monetary success.

Sell up your gold. In fact, it is recommended that you sell your own gold within the first month for this is when it becomes such an in demand commodity. You can start your price at a high rate. Always be cautious on where you will spend your gold especially at the start of the game.

Gold farming is essential in Diablo 3 but remember that there comes various ways of the term farming. It also includes gear and essence farming methods. Each requires a unique approach and can also render you varying gains.

Do not hesitate to use artisans. Invest in crafting gear pieces and then sell them right at the auction house. To use your blacksmith can become an important way for you to make gold when most of the players have reached level 60.

D3 Making New Trends

Blizzard Entertainment is a very well-known name in the gaming world. Having given amazing titles such as Warcraft and Starcraft, Blizzard Entertainment has already carved a niche for itself.

The sequel, set after two decades, promises to bring a better game play with more features and advanced graphics. The makers have given the game their blood and soul to make it standout in the crowd. It wouldn’t be wrong to say that they have succeeded in doing so to a great extent. Diablo 3 Gold is already looked at as the next big game.

It offers more destruction, mayhem and blood. However, this is not its unique selling point. The game actually offers on something totally different – something that puts it in a different league altogether.

The makers have installed a unique feature in the Diablo 3 Gold. There is a unique in-game money auction home. This is a step in the right direction as it will not only allow more to the players, but also stop others from taking unfair advantage of the game.

With this feature, you can actually make real money from Diablo 3 Gold. Surprised? This is the game’s most unique feature. It allows people to increase their bank balance while enjoying the game.

D3 Tips and Guide

A Diablo 3 Guide to having fun. Tips and tricks on having fun in Diablo 3.
diablo 3
This is often a huge problem — people start playing a game and they’re not there for fun. All they want to do is level as fast as possible, make as much gold as possible and kill other players… but they’re not having fun!

Sure, they may say they’re having fun, but all you need to do is check their behavior to see that in fact they are not having any at all.

The leveling problem
You can tell someone’s not having fun when they say they’re “leveling”. They’re killing the same mobs over and over again, running the same tower over and over, or killing the Butcher dozens and dozens of times. As you explore the game, you naturally get experience for killing monsters in the way. So if you’re killing the same thing over and over, ask yourself whether what you are really doing is having fun or have you just taken up a second job? This is the biggest Diablo 3 guide advice you can take away and that is to always be having fun. If you’re not, just turn the game off and do something else!

Making as much gold as possible
It might be tempting to think that you will literally be able to pay your rent and other expenses by playing Diablo 3 now that it has a real money auction house, but the truth of the matter is that after Blizzard, Paypal and the money changers take their cut of your coin, you’ll have very little bang for your buck — in other words, you will probably be making something like $5 an hour or less.

Well, if you invest hundreds of hours into the game to research where the best items drop and read a few of the available Diablo 3 Guide books and Diablo 3 Tips books, you might be able to raise your earnings to about $10/hour, but isn’t it smarter just to get a real job and play as much as you want in the evening or the weekend without worrying about rent?

Sure, maybe you’ll make some money when the game first comes out in the first few months, but after a while, everyone will have all the items they want and there will be quite a few very well established “gold farming” businesses outcompeting you with time, effort and energy, so in the long run it won’t be worth it.

The PVP
In Diablo 3, PVP is not implemented yet, but when it will be, you will instantly see the people who are not having fun. They’re the ones typing in all caps when they get killed. Or the ones on Youtube smashing their computers with a sledge hammer. Or the ones on the up and coming Wives of Diablo website.

You get the picture! The biggest thing you can take away from this Diablo 3 guide is to have fun at all costs!

D3 Gold with Gold Find Set

There are countless ways of making money in Diablo 3. For casual players like me, playing the auction house is the most efficient way to use time in the game to make a profit. An hour a day can turn into millions of Diablo 3 Gold, which can turn into cash money.

However, as a gamer I also enjoy spending a little time actually playing the game and swinging a badass two handed axe like a giant baseball bat.

I decided to invest in another strategy for making Diablo 3 gold that I read about in Markco’s Gold Guide. He suggested a farming run in Hell for players that do not quite have the gear to effectively farm Inferno Act 1. The probability of finding an item that’s really worth selling on either AH in Act III of Hell are slim to none, but with a decent Diablo 3 gold find set you can make upwards of 400K per hour killing everything you can find.

The first step was to pick up a high DPS weapon. I spent about half a million Diablo 3 gold on a two hander with close to 1200 DPS. The important thing is to be able to pretty much one shot as many mobs as possible, which my two hander does nicely in Hell Act III.

Then it was time to start combing the AH for Gold Find Gear. I went slot by slot and looked at prices for the max gold find (which are extremely high) and then knocked off one or two percentage points from my search and picked up deals that had high Strength (for my Barb) and high gold find. I’m not concerned about vitality or resist all at this point, I just need to kill fast.

For a few million, I outfitted my Barbarian is Gold Find gear that was not perfect, but pretty close. Unbuffed, I have 289% GF and 364% with 5 stacks of Nephalem Valor.

I also equipped my follower (Templar) with gold find gear. You get a bonus to your Diablo 3 gold and magic find from your follower, so if you put together a GF or MF set, make sure you don’t forget your follower. Templars are the best because they can equip a shield, which gives you an extra GF/MF slot.

Now that I have a gold farming set, whenever I have some extra time to play the game I can throw on this gear and run around Act III Hell and kill everything I see. I’ve had mobs drop as much as 2,000 gold. On average, white mobs will drop 200-500 gold a piece.

Seeing huge amounts of Diablo 3 gold drop from mobs is a lot of fun. It’s not the most efficient way to make money playing Diablo 3 and you won’t get rich doing it, but it’s extremely consistent. I invest a lot of my capital on bidding on items and I only win about 15% of the items I bid on…which means I tie a lot of Diablo 3 gold up in bids. When my gold balance gets low, farming for gold like a Chinese Gold Farmer is a way for me to spend any extra time I have playing the game and still be helping my bottom line.

D3 class balance

Well, the PVP blog we’ve been waiting for has been posted and it was definitely not what we were hoping it would be (this seems to be trend with PVP). Jay teased us tweeting that the PVP blog post would be up “shortly” then soon changed his tune stating it would be delayed. I really wonder if the post he thought he was originally going to write was what has now been published, or if things really escalated that quick to warrant this response. Whatever the case, here is the blog post in its entirety.

“Hey everyone,

The development team has been working really hard on the features, content, and systems for PvP in Diablo III and I wanted to take some time to give an update on where we’re at.

Of course, our goal has been to release our Team Deathmatch mode as soon as possible, but we don’t want to put anything out there before it’s ready. Right now, Team Deathmatch isn’t yet where we want it to be, so I want to provide some insight into where we are at in the development process.

For us it comes to a few issues, one of which is depth.  Simply fighting each other with no other objectives or choices to make gets old relatively quickly.  We’ve brought a lot of people in to try out Team Deathmatch and, while some found it entertaining, most of our testers didn’t feel like it was something they’d want to do beyond a few hours. Without more varied objectives, or very lucrative rewards, few saw our current iteration as something they’d want spend a lot of time in.

Another is class balance. Like Diablo II, Diablo III was designed to be a PvE-first kind of game, where we never compromised on player abilities in the name of future PvP balance.  We want to be able to carry over as many of the crazy runes, items, and skills as possible, with their crazy effects, and alter them as little as possible. In a casual PvP mode, something equivalent to a WoW Battleground, this would be fine, but Team Deathmatch felt very hardcore, and it put a laser focus on class balance in a way that we didn’t think would be good for the game as a whole.

Certainly, we’ve gotten a lot of benefits from the development of Team Deathmatch, especially in the areas of controls and combat model tuning, but at this point we don’t believe it’s the experience we feel it needs to be in order to ship, so we will be shelving it for now and exploring other options.

D3 The State of PvP

Well, the PVP blog we’ve been waiting for has been posted and it was definitely not what we were hoping it would be (this seems to be trend with PVP). Jay teased us tweeting that the PVP blog post would be up “shortly” then soon changed his tune stating it would be delayed. Our original intent with PvP for Diablo III was to provide more formal support for the dueling community that existed in Diablo II. We wanted to give players some kind of structure that would not only make it easier for you to duel with one another, but also allow you to have duels that were team-based. This is how our Team Deathmatch mode emerged, and it’s been instrumental in making a lot of improvements to Diablo III. But in continuing to develop this mode, playtest it, and put it in front of other developers within the company, we’ve found that it falls short of our expectations for a high-quality Blizzard experience.

Putting people into an arena and letting them hurl fireballs and swing crazy-ass swords at one another always has an element of fun to it.  I imagine it’s no surprise to anyone reading this blog that people like battling each other in video games, so if you had the chance to play our Team Deathmatch at one of the BlizzCons where we featured it you might not understand why we’d say that we don’t feel the current mode is good enough.

D3 ZOMBIE BEARS SKILL

LEARN HOW TO GEAR YOUR CHARACTER EARLY. Again, this is much much different than Diablo 2. Gone are the days where you wanted to stack as many +skill levels as possible. There AREN’T any skill levels! Your character’s prime stat is what upgrades your damage and is generally what you want to be focusing on. This means strength for Barbarians, dexterity for Demon Hunters and Monks and intelligence for Witch Doctors and Wizards. Also WEAPON DAMAGE ACTUALLY MATTERS FOR CASTERS. Thats right Witch Doctors and Wizards, many of your spells do a percentage of your weapon damage so you want to be rocking the highest DPS weapon you can- even if that means a two-handed axe. Keep in mind attack speed affects cast speed as well though.

BOSS FARMING FOR LOOT DOESN’T WORK. The more elites/uniques/bosses you kill in a single game increases your chances of finding better loot. This means joining a new game and right as they kill diablo will probably only net you a few blue items and thats it. Sorry Mephisto and Pindleskin, looks like your record for number of times killed by loot hungry adventurers won’t be broken anytime soon. In fact once you hit level 60 you get a buff that stacks up to 5 times that reflects this.

ZOMBIE BEARS IS THE MOST METAL SKILL IN THE HISTORY OF GAMES.

D3 The Key Points of the Next Update in

Even through new update for Diablo 3 is not available yet, we have collected some latest information about the key points of the next update. Let’s see what we can expect in the Diablo 3 in the near future.
http://cf.shacknews.com/images/20130429/screenshot_conquerdynamicbattlefield_25533.jpg
Firstly, adjust the affixes of the gears to make the item system more balanced. Just like we know, the legendary weapons have large gaps with the normal items in Diablo 3. Players have few choices for the gears when they reach certain levels, as the diversity of the legendary weapons need to be improved as well. As items are always the most important part for the players, how to design more gears with cool effect and unique advantages is of vital importance to encourage players to try different kinds of builds.

Secondly, changes to the skills. Every player may have known this kind of situation really well that Demon Hunter is the weakest in this game. He has no core and special skills to cause attack at all. Most of his skills can only help him defense the damages. How to adjust his skills and make him different from the other professions in game is what Blizzard need to think about carefully.  What DH should be good at according to the original setting of the game is the ranged combat ability and the mobility. Once they can figure out how to make this profession unique, more players would turn to try this profession and research different builds. It is time to do something for Demon Hunter.

Besides the skill changes to the DH, the developers are also devoting themselves to adjusting the AOE skills and skills towards single target. Just because the increase of density for the monsters in Diablo 3, more players turn to choose more AOE skills to cause damages to crowds of enemies. It is good for them to try something new, but it makes the single-attack skills ignored by many players. How to make every skill useful to players is also the question Blizzard thinking about now.

Thirdly, the drop system will be improved as well. It is not right when we kill monster that harder to deal with but only get worse drops. How to make sure that we win what we deserve after our hard works can make players more passionate to take challenges. The drop system should be reasonable at least, right?

Fourthly, improve the PVP system. There is still big room for the Blizzard to improve the PVP system. They have made the PVE so great that players have explored all the things they can do to have fun in PVE, maybe it is time to give them something new and challenging. In the next update, you may be able to experience new PVP mode.

Diablo 3 Continuous Development

Recently a very professional player shared his opinion about the problems of the current Diablo 3 in a game forum. He thought that it is not only the problem of the Blizzard, but also the problem of the players.
http://cf.shacknews.com/images/20130325/ps15503_dh_vl_014_25132.jpg
We admit it that there are some problems with the design of the game. The effect of the skills is too much reliable to the gears in game. So, every player is crazy about how to get the top gears through the drops and the AH. The difference a piece of gear can make is much bigger than the difference a set of build can bring. The severe imbalance of the diablo 3 items killed the fun of playing this game by very large degree.

However, the players have their own problems as well. Just like what they are doing in the real life, they can not wait to enjoy the success. So, when they get the cd key, or when a new update comes out, the thing they care about most is how to level up fast, which is the best route to farm gold, what is the best build for certain professions and so on. These answers can be found easily on the website and forums, but they kill the fun of researching by themselves.

What I want to say is that, if we love this game, we give this game room to develop. There is nothing born to be perfect. Diablo 3 is great as it is designed by the best game developer, but we have to acknowledge it that there must be problems always. The game has to keep changing and adjusting to meet the tastes of the players’. The changes keep us expecting and adjusting our ways to enjoy the game as well. A game without changes can not last long as we are all changing all the time. So, if we love this game, we tolerate its mistakes just like we would keep forgiving the children’.

Instead of judging the game like the others, maybe it is time to form our own ideas about Diablo 3. It gives us surprises at the very beginning, and it has kept us accompany for a year, it will keep giving us expectations in the future and bring us more fun in the future. Just believe in that!
